Installing the GoHire Chrome Extension

The GoHire chrome extension will allow you to send and receive text messages from any webpage you are on, without having to move from your ATS, CRM, or another sourcing platform.

The chrome extension will also provide notifications so that if a candidate sends a message via text message, you’ll see a red number for the notification.

Steps to Download and Install:
Step 1. Visit the Google Chrome Store: https://bit.ly/2W3wQBh.

Step 2. Click the “Add to Chrome” blue button.

Step 3. Click the "Puzzle piece" icon in your Chrome browser bar.

Step 4. Click the Blue Pin, to Pin the Chrome extension on your browser bar, so you can see if notifications of new inbound candidates and text messages.

Notice Chrome has inserted the GoHire “Go” icon in your Chrome Toolbar.

Step 5: Visit https://gohire.com and then click the "Go" icon in your browser toolbar. This should open the Chrome extension allowing you to log in.

(Notice- there is the possibility that the Chrome extension will not open depending on the webpage you are on. This is because of Chrome extension security. If the Chrome extension does not initially open on click, visit another website, and try it again. This is a known bug with Chrome extensions, and we are looking for a solution.)

Step 6: Once you have the GoHire Chrome extension open, enter your GoHire username and password to log in.

Step 7: Send your first text from a web page.

Once you’ve installed the extension, let’s send your first text message.
